Mittal Corp Limited (MCL), an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified organization, the flagship company of the group, is an established manufacturer of stainless steel billets, blooms, rolled flats of various thickness/ width and has manufacturing facilities in Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh.

Current installed capacity is 120,000 TPA to manufacture stainless steel billets, on a land of over 17 acres, with manufacturing facilities consisting of 20 tonne Induction furnace balancing equipments like 35 T AOD converter, dedicated Fume Extraction System (FES), Rolling Mill, Automatic mould level controller (AMLC), Oxygen Gas Plant & Cranes etc.

To improve quality, yield and to reduce the ferro alloys consumption, refractory consumption the company has installed a Ladle Refining Furnace (LRF) of 35T to provide flexibility to produce alloy steel.

The company has flexibility to produce SAE/AISI 201, 202, 304 and 400 Grades catering to segments ranging from household goods to specialized steel for pharmaceuticals industry and other advanced applications with focus on 200 series (low nickel).

Within a short span of 6 years, MCL has positioned itself as Second largest manufacturers of Stainless Steel FLATS (200 series) in India, commanding market share of about 20%.

To expand operations in consonance with the existing operations MCL entered an agreement with the Government of Madhya Pradesh, to bring world class technology for rolling stainless steel and alloy steel, installing flexible rolling mill of 150,000 tonne per annum procured from Danieli Morgardshmmar, Italy acknowledged global leader in manufacturing of rolling mill and steel plant equipment

By commissioning the new mill, company’s Turnover will exceed Rs 1,000 crores.

The Rolling Mill is capable of producing wire rod, rounds in all grades of stainless steel, alloy steel and carbon steel. Equipment being installed incorporates contemporary technology and processes which will be used for the first time in India for stainless steel, alloy steel and carbon steel.
